TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

RESERVATION POLICY:
Baboon Cay Eco- Resort requires a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The full balance is payable 15 days prior to arrival. Baboon Cay Eco- Resort accepts payments by Visa, MasterCard and check. All payments are processed in US dollars

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Deposits for cancellations made after that date will be refunded subject to penalty fees stated as a percentage of the total deposit amount as shown below.
•    30 to 15 days prior to arrival- forfeit 50% of the package price
•    14 to 0 days prior to arrival- forfeit 100% of the package price
Certain airfares may not be refundable regardless of time of cancellation. We recommend the purchase of a travel insurance. Please consulate us for further information and or your travel/ insurance agent. 

CHANGES TO RESERVATION:
If our guests wish to change but not cancel their reservation, at any point prior to travel the following fees apply as shown below.
•    received 30 to 15 days prior to travel, a revision fee of 200 USD per person would apply
•    received 14 days or less, full cancelation fees apply
Please note that bookings over the weeks of Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s are subject to a 100% of deposit cancellation fee if cancelled less than 180 days from the arrival date. Reservations are subject to cancellation and full payment forfeited if payment is not made in full 14 days prior to arrival date. No refunds will be made if cancelled during stay. All payments will be forfeited

TAX:
Nicaragua require a Tourist Tax of 17% which is added to the total price of your stay.

SMOKING:
We allow smoking inside of the cabanas as well as around the island but ask that you respect other guests around who may be more sensitive. We also ask that you dispose of you cigarette butts properly. 

COMMUNICATIONS:
Cellphone coverage on the island is not reliable. There are a few specific areas that receive connection but guests can expect to have a communication free stay.
